Jo is the Managing Director for Business at O2, a telecommunications giant situated in London. Despite her corporate prowess, Jo possesses an indomitably adventurous spirit, having spent time living in countries around the globe and earning a pilot license whilst at it (I was fortunate enough to enjoy the skyline of Johannesburg from the passenger seat of a Cessna, flown by Jo). <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

When asked what her perfect holiday entailed, Jo summed it up as, “Amazing scenery, some interesting history or culture, good weather, and great food and wine!”<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Unsurprisingly, given her bold nature, Jo lists a ten-day road trip around Namibia as a highlight of hers. The scenery, remoteness of the location and the incredibly friendly locals all combined to create a memorable holiday. South Africa still features as a regular option for her and her husband (“we\u2019ve visited many times now!”) with the restaurants of Cape Town, the Winelands, coastal Garden Route, and the wildlife of Kruger and Addo Elephant park remaining firm favourites. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

With a new baby in the family, Jo and her husband aren’t about to bring an end to their travel experiences. According to Jo, it’s merely a matter of finding new locations that are baby-friendly. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
